Spacing Systems

We can offer three basic formats of line spacing systems for retrofit to your conveyor as follows:

Simple spacing wheel: mounted to the side of your conveyor line with rubbered wheel and slide adjustment mount, supplied with speed control. For use with light to medium weight products where an approximate pitch spacing is required and without the need to hold the line.

Side belt spacing system: for us use with cylindrical products (where the product will be rotated) or square/rectangular products, where a low friction side plate is used to allow the product to slide.

This system provides a similar result to a spacing wheel, with the benefit of holding the product, reducing the chance of the product falling and also allowing use with heavier products and/or to temporarily hold the products.

Dual side belt spacing: this is an extremely flexible spacing system, capable of operating with both square/rectangular containers as well as cylindrical products without change parts. It can also handle special-shaped products, including products tapering to their base, holding the relative positions of products once within the drive of the belts.

Our twin side belt spacing system is supplied with handwheel adjustment self-centring system - which is extremely useful to set a centreline position with different size products (but can also be locked out to a datum where required), as well as having the potential to be extended and dual functioned to transfer products over a conveyor split.

Another key function of this spacing system is the possibility to handle heavy products and/or to hold the line back for line build back flow-control solutions.
